How do I place an online order?

Before ordering, please check you have the following:

  • A valid UK postal address (not a P.O Box) that your item/s can be delivered to (a signature will be required.) 
  • A valid Paypal account. 

Please also read the following pages before you buy any items online:

  • "Allergy Information" (this is especially relevant if you are purchasing wearable metallic items.)
  • "P&P Details & Terms" (this applies to all orders)

To view items and add them to your basket:

To view all the current items available for sale, including event tickets, please either click on the "product list" or "store" tab. (On mobile devices this may be a dropdown menu.) If you can not see any items in product list or store, please check back in a few days, as it just means I am adding new items or updating ones already listed and the store will be back online shortly. (Alternatively please contact me and I'll let you know when the store will be accessible.)

To look at a particular item in more detail, click on either the image of the item you want to view or the brief title directly underneath (both will take you to the full description)

Once you have read the full description and viewed all available images, if you want to buy this item simply click on "Add to Basket".

Removing an item from your basket:

If you want to remove an item from your basket, click on "Basket" at the top right of the page, scroll down the list to find the item you wish to take off and click "remove" directly underneath it.

Accessing your basket and completing checkout:

Once you have added all items you wish to purchase to your basket, simply click on "View Basket".  This can be done on any item page or by clicking "Basket" in the top right hand corner and then "View basket" directly underneath. (Jewellery items can not be posted in the same parcel/with Art items.)

You will then be sent to your "Basket summary", which will give you an itemised list including prices of everything you have added to your basket. (This total does NOT include P&P charges, these are manually added on the next page.)

When you have everything in your basket that you wish to buy, click on "Proceed to Checkout"

You will then be taken to another page entitled "shipping", where you need to select the correct shipping cost from the extensive list on the left hand side of the page. (For example: You are buying 1 necklace and 1 brooch. You will need to select "1 - 2 jewellery items" as the shipping option.) Once you click on the relevant shipping method, it will add to your order, giving you a detailed list of all the products you have bought together with shipping costs, your "Grand total".

Once you are happy that you have selected the right shipping option, scroll down the page and click on "Continue". 

 This will take you to the "Delivery address" page. Here you will need to manually input your name, address, E-mail address and (optionally) any note to myself (Claire G Jewellery) that you wish to apply to your order. (For example: Please mark the parcel as private and confidential. Please wait at least 3 days before posting. etc.) Please take care when inputting your details, if you don't fill in all the required fields the order can not be processed and if you fill out any of it incorrectly I will either not be able to contact you about your order and/or your goods will be sent to the wrong address. When you have completed filling in this information, click on "Go to payment".

You will then be taken to, where you will be asked to securely log in to your Paypal account to verify the transaction. Please make sure you are logged in to the correct account and have fully checked the amount you are agreeing to. Once you have completed checkout with Paypal you should receive 2 automatically generated e-mails, one from Paypal confirming your payment to Claire G Jewellery and the other from "Cloudsite" thanking you for your order and confirming the items, order number, shipping and delivery address for your order. If you do not receive any of these e-mails, please check your junk folder in case they have been incorrectly filtered.

After your order has been placed:

You will receive another automatically generated e-mail from "Cloudsite" advising when your item has been despatched.
Within 24 hours of this e-mail, you will also receive an e-mail directly from confirming your item/s have been posted together with recorded delivery number (where relevant) and be given an expected delivery date.
